Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleiman believes everyone should be afraid of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Suleiman emphasizes that the world will become worse if humans lose control over AI in the future.

However, Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleiman believes that despite developments in AI, you should still be afraid of it.
The Microsoft AI chief took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts on AI. Mustafa Suleiman said that right now there are two things that could be true. He wrote, “If you’re not amazed by AI, you don’t really understand it. If you’re not afraid of AI, you don’t really understand it.”
While Suleiman cautioned that those who are not afraid of artificial intelligence probably do not yet understand the capabilities of AI, he also indicated that AI is nevertheless something wonderful.

However, there are fears that if AI becomes smarter than humans, humanity may lose control over it completely. Mustafa Suleiman believes that the development of AI superintelligence should not be done just for the sake of it.
