Actor Mohini revealed that he was forced to do an intimate scene in ‘Kanamani’ without his consent. He admitted that despite his inconvenience, there was pressure to shoot the scene of the swimsuit.
Actor Mohini recently admitted that he was asked to do an intimate scene in director RK Selvamani’s ‘Kanmani’ without consent. He said that despite the initially refusal and even crying to the scenes, the actor gave it so that production does not suffer.
Mohini, in an interview Eveval VikanHow he tried to express his inconvenience to swimsuit sequunce, but was pressurized to do the scene. He said, “Director RK Selvamani planned this swimming suit sequence. I was very uncomfortable, I cried and refused to do so, and the shooting was stopped for half a day. I tried to explain that I didn’t even know how I wanted to swim!
“I worked for half a day and gave what he asked. Later, when he said that the same scene was shot in Ooty, I refused. When he told me that the shoot would not continue, I said, ‘This is your problem, not mine. It was as if you had forced me to do so earlier.” So Kanmani was the only film that I was sometimes glamorous without my consent.
Mohini has acted with many popular actors in her film career, including Shivaji Ganesan, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Mammuti, Shivarjkumar, Vijayakanth, Vishnuvardhan, Vikram, Revichandran, Sarathkumar, Mohan Babu, and Surash.
He played an important role in films like ‘Chinna Marumagal’, ‘Aditya 369’, ‘Hitler’, ‘Nadodi’, ‘Intha Chintha Vishyam’, ‘Sayamam’, ‘Vahaam’, ‘Vesham’, ‘Gadibadi Alia’, ‘Thayagam’ and others.
The actor was last seen in the 2011 Malayalam-language political action thriller film ‘Collector’.
