Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been designed to act contrary to each other in Rahul Sankity’s upcoming film. The co-star, who is also rumored to dating, first shared screen space in Geeta Govindam, which was released in 2018, and a year later in the beloved Comrade.
The audience has enjoyed the pair’s chemistry and is hoping to hit the upcoming project on screen soon.
The news of a couple working together for a film makes a public presence in the Independence Day celebrations a few days after Deverkonda and Mandanna.

While the details of the story of the upcoming film have not yet come out, media reports said that the film will be set during British rule in the 1800s era. In the film, Vijay is expected to play a rustic character from Rayalaseema, and this is the first time that the actor will portray such a role.
A formula close to actors and makers shared, “The film has a vested story with a mixture of pointed writing and strong feelings. Action, also, is an integral element of the story.”
Meanwhile, the filmmaker, Sankritya, has previously worked with Devarakonda in the 2018 film, Taxiwala. For technical handling, the international cinematographer, éric gautir, will take the seat behind the camera.
In addition, acclaimed musician Ajay-Atul will compose the Soundtrack for the film. Apart from Vijay and Rashmika, Hollywood star Arnold Voslo has also joined artists.
