Rajinikanth’s latest release, ‘Cooli’, is showing no signs of slowing down. The film maintained its blistering run at the 3 -day box office, mined Rs 38.50 crore in India, which was provoked by Independence Day holiday and strong weekend.

With this, the domestic collection of Cool has increased by Rs 158.25 crore in just three days, while its worldwide gross has already crossed a mark of Rs 250 crore. The film has also become the highest -grossing Tamil release of 2025, which crosses Ajit Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’ within two days of release.

Nagarjuna, who plays the role of Mencing Pratipak, Simon, reflected the film’s shocking influence. “We knew that we were part of something special, and the energy around the film is a proof of this. The reaction of my role has been heavy. Great cinema is always about cooperation, chemistry and giving something to the audience that they would recall for a long time after a credit role,” he said.

  • Day 1 (1 Thursday) – 65 crores
  • Day 2 (first Friday) – Rs 54.75 crore
  • Day 3 (first Saturday) – Rs 38.50 crore

In addition to Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna, ‘Coolie’ has a dress artist, which includes Upendra, Shruti Haasan and Saubin Shahir with a special cameo by Aamir Khan. The success of the film’s thunder has now speculated whether it can challenge Rajinikanth’s earlier blockbusters such as ‘2.0’ and ‘jailer’ records.

With the audience’s theater and the Word-of-Mouth strengthening during the day, the industry trackers believe that the ‘coolie’ definitely firmly firmly to dissolve a 600-crores of mark, which carries forward Rajinikanth’s unbreakable governance at the box office.
