Whether you are reposting memes, seeing what your friends are doing on the reel, or tracking where your favorite makers are posting, is something new to play with.
Let’s break it.
Repost tab
The days of using strange workarounds to resume the content you like. Instagram is now officially allowing users to re -prepare public reels and post feed on their profiles. These repost will not kidnap your grid; Instead, they will stay in a dedicated Repost tab and will also be revealed with your followers.

Reposting is simple: Just tap on the repost icon below the post or reel, and you will also get the option to add a small note through the pop-up Thott bubble. Instagram ensures that the original manufacturer gets full credit, and your repost helps their content access to the new audience.
A live map
The next is the Instagram map, a new feature that offers a real -time from your friends and favorite manufacturers, from where are posted. Think of it like a Snap map, but on Instagram, and with more control over your privacy.
Sharing the location is closed by default, and you will have the power to decide who sees your place. From sharing the option with all friends, just close friends, a selected something, or none. There is also a way to block the location sharing in some places, when you do not transmit the late diet that late dinner, a thoughtful touch.
You will get a map on top of your DM inbox. Currently it is being rolled out in America, in which a global launch is coming soon.
A friend tab in reels
Instagram is also making the reel a little more social with the introduction of a friend tab. This section has been interacted by your colleagues, whether they like, comment, or share, what are you trending between your crew.
To make things even more individual, feature taps into blends, a recommended system based on a shared taste between you and your friends. If you do not share your own viewing habits, you will have the option to hide your activity or muted update from some friends.
All these changes are part of the ongoing push of the Instagram, which develops from a photo-sharing app to develop perfectly in social experience that feels slightly more human. With these devices, keeping with their friends, and what they are looking, love, and where they are hanging out, just became very easy.
Whether you are a chronic reels scroller or the latest update of a low-key Lurlar, Instagram want to bring you closer to your circle, a repost, reaction and map pin at a time.
