Thalapathi Vijay is set to hit a big screen with his action drama Flicks Jan Nayagan on 9 January 2026. The film, directed by H Winoth, is now expected to launch its audio in December 2025, and is also at an international place.
Jan Nayagan to launch audio in Malaysia?
According to a report by X (East Twitter) handle, Singapore films, the producers of Jana Nayagan, are slaughtered to operate their audio launch in Malaysia. According to the same update, the incident will take place on December 27, 2025.
While the official sources are yet to confirm this, it will be against the ideal of Vijay films, as most of his films are launched within Tamil Nadu.
Vijay’s future in Tamil cinema
As the initial promotion has already said, Jan Nayagan is likely to be the final cinematic venture of Vijay Vijay before focusing his focus to politics.
Recently, Mamita Baiju, the co-star of his Jan Naygan, revealed that his future in Tamil cinema depends on the 2026 Tamil Nadu assembly elections and his results.
On a side note, director Lokesh Kanagarj confessed that he had views for Master 2 and Leo 2. However, it depends on the availability of victory. As of asking whether he would replace superstar in the sequel Ventures, the director stood strong as long as the Vijay, the projects would never be physical.

Jana Nayagan is an upcoming political action drama directed by H Winith. The film is rumored by Thalapati Vijay as a former police officer.
As Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol play the role of co-leaders, the film has a dress of actors, including Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narayan, Priyamani, Mamita Baiju and many lead roles.
With Anirudh Ravichender handling music tracks and background scores, it marks the 5th cooperation of the composer with Vijay after films like Kathy, Master, Beast and Leo.

Interestingly, reports suggest that Thalapathy Vijay has cried for a track called One Last Song in the film, which is working as a career celebration in Tamil cinema.
