In the unveiling of the second season of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recalled an old bike for his father, Salim Khan. He narrated the story of his father’s detection and restoration of Triumph Tiger 100, who was first purchased in 1956.

Salman Khan made a detailed visit to how the bike was searched again in Hyderabad junk. He said, “He bought this bike when he was 16 years old for 4,800.” This vintage vehicle, which was absent from Khan home over the years, was an important piece of family history.

Salman shared the restoration process

According to Salman, “Sohail sour this bike. It was lying in a junkkhana in Hyderabad. Therefore, we got this bike from Hyderabad, sourced all the missing parts, and restored it for it.” Family effort to bring the bike back to life was a task of love and was a sign for their shared interests.

Salman, who shared a picture of the bike restored with his father on social media last year, said the restoration project was a gesture of affection and a sign for his shared love for the motorbike.

Khan also talked about how he learned to ride his father and how this tradition continues in his family farmhouse, where he now teaches his nephews to ride.
