Telugu actor Naga Shaurya expressed his support for Kannada actor Darshan in the alleged murder case of Renukaswamy in an Instagram post. He shared a photo with him and said that his brother Darshan is ‘not someone who can ever harm anyone’. He said that he has full faith in the justice system and Darshan will be proved innocent. He also claimed that the family of the victim Renukaswamy deserves privacy in this difficult time.

Sharing a post on Instagram, he wrote, “My condolences are with the family of the deceased and I really wish them strength in this difficult time.”

He said he was ‘disappointed to see people drawing hasty conclusions on this issue.’ “Darshan Anna is not someone who would harm anyone even in his worst dreams. Those who know him well can attest to his generosity, kind nature and his unwavering commitment to helping others. He has always gone out of his way to help the needy and has been a pillar of strength for many,” he posted.

Talking about his disbelief, he said, “I cannot accept this news even in my deepest fears. I have faith in our justice system and I am confident that the truth will soon come out.”

He concluded his note saying, “We must also remember that another family is suffering terribly. They deserve privacy and respect during this challenging time. I firmly believe that Anna, who is known for his integrity and compassion, will be proven innocent and the real culprit will be brought to justice.”

His previous post had two hashtags, #StandByDarshan and #JusticeForAll. However, they have now been removed.

Naga Shaurya has also turned off comments on his post.

Kannada actor Darshan, his partner and ‘friend’ Pavitra Gowda and other accused are currently in judicial custody. Earlier this month, Darshan was arrested for his alleged involvement in the murder of 33-year-old Renukaswamy, who had sent obscene messages to Pavitra.
