Vishnu Manchu and Akshay Kumar released on 14 June in the trailer of ‘Kannappa’. Inspired by the famous story of Kannappa, a dedicated follower of Lord Shiva, the film presents a spiritual journey contained in mythology.
The trailer affects with its striking VFX and cinematic qualityKannappa weaves the subjects of devotion, vengeance and change after a warrior, which develops as a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. The beginning of the story with Kannappa initially considers God as only a stone. Actor Prabhas appears as Rudra, who serves as a divine link between Kannappa and Lord Shiva.

Akshay Kumar and Kajal play the divine roles of Lord Shiva and Parvati ‘KannappaMohan Babu takes the character of Mahadev Shastri, while Sarath Kumar appears as Nathnathudu. The film also includes prominent actors like Mohanlal, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji and Raghu Babu in the leading roles in the film.
The trailer also gives a glimpse in the unfolding story Through the sequence of impressive events. Manchu Vishnu gave a decent performance as the title character, and the producers have gone out with the high quality VFX of the film. An important part of the film is shot in the picturesque scenario of New Zealand.
The trailer of the film was first postponed in Ahmedabad due to the sad Air India crash. ‘Kannappa’ is slapped to hit a big screen on 27 June.
