According to a new GSMA report, the mobile industry is expected to contribute extensively in China’s economy by 2030. This will be about 8.3 percent of the country’s GDP. The report has increased the use of mobile internet across China. The number of mobile internet users has increased from 1.17 billion to 1.22 billion by 2030 in 2024, with a total increase from 80 percent to 84 percent. Meanwhile, the consumption of mobile data is expected to be approximately quadruple by 2030, reaching about 70GB per connection per month.
