A big glass of fruit and vegetable juice can give you essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Whether it is a tart orange juice to start the day or a green juice blend for an energy boost, juicing has become a popular way to get all the nutrients at once. Here are 5 ways to incorporate leftover juice pulp into your diet

1. Parathas

Yes! You can make nutritious parathas at home from leftover juice pulp. Imagine starting your day with the flavours and colours of carrots, beetroot, spinach, etc., all stuffed into a delicious paratha. This not only adds a fun twist to your parathas but also provides additional nutrients that you and your family might otherwise miss out on. All you need to do is add the leftover juice pulp to whole wheat flour and knead it like normal dough. Pair it with your favourite curry and pickle and enjoy!

2. Chutney

Chutneys are a must-have in Indian households, but did you know that you can make them even tastier by using leftover juice pulp? Whether you have fruit pulp like apples, oranges, pears or vegetable pulp like tomatoes and cucumbers, they can be used to make delicious chutneys. Simply mix the leftover juice pulp with green chillies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt and lemon. Season it with mustard seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves and enjoy this chutney with your main dishes.

3. Dhokla

Soft and spongy dhokla is a favourite snack from Gujarat made with gram flour. However, you can give it an extra healthy twist by adding leftover juice pulp. This will not only increase the nutritional value of the dhokla but will also give it a great taste and texture. All you need to do is add the juice pulp while making the regular dhokla batter. Add a pinch of baking soda and steam it. Prepare a sweet and tangy tadka of lemon juice, sugar and water and pour it over the steamed dhokla. Enjoy it with green chutney!
