Tamil cinema superstar Ajit Kumar has written a 33 -year heartfelt statement in the film industry, which reflects his visit to an outsider with a film heritage to become one of the most famous actors and Padma Bhushan recipients of South India.
In his thank-u statement, Kumar insisted that he had gratitude not about the milestone festival. “As I have completed 33 years in this extraordinary journey called cinema, I do not pen it to persuade it. I do not wait for landmark numbers because I believe that every passing year is a historical year. I thank you all with a full heart and folded hands,” he wrote.
The actor, known for his intense performance and dedicated fan, spoke honestly about his humble start in the industry. “This journey was never easy. I did not come from heritage or influence. I started from outside, nothing more than a will to try. Life, in my own way, tested me through injuries, failures, failures and silence. But I ever stopped. I moved forward. I moved forward.”
Kumar’s philosophy on flexibility was especially striking: “Because perseverance is not something I have learned; this is something that I lived.”
Accepting the ups and downs of his film career, Kumar credited his fans for his unwavering support during difficult times – “In cinema, I have fallen and I get up more than what I can count. And every time I dubbed myself, your love picked me up. Even when I was out of sight, I had nothing, but I did not do anything.”
Kumar’s passion is beyond motor racing beyond cinema, where he has faced a completely different set of challenges. Explaining his struggles, he said, “But my journey did not stop with cinema. In the world of motor racing, I face a very different exam. A track doesn’t pay attention to who you are. It doesn’t forgive. It does not forgive. It demands respect, attention and patience. I have crashed. I have also been thrown down my core and I have been tested.”
The actor explained his inspiration to continue in motorsports: “But I was going, not medals or headlines, but to prove myself that discipline, courage and pain can be co-existence with purpose. I represent the country of valor and sometimes a breed of attitude.”
Ajit Kumar represents more than Kumar’s return to the recent entry game in motor racing through racing. “In 2025, as I re -entered the world of motor racing with Ajit Kumar racing, it was not just a return to the game. It was a statement for itself and for anyone, who ever doubted that age, fear and obstacles, but it is will, but will,” he commented.
This statement was filled with widespread gratitude towards various groups who supported their journey. Kumar thanked his fans, saying: “For all my fans, I am not the one I am without you.
He also accepted the professional professionals of the film industry, who shaped his career: “For many directors, writers, technicians and actors who shaped my way, you directed me, trusted me, and helped me grow. I thank my producers, distributors and exhibitors too.”
Kumar expressed his deepest gratitude to receive India’s third largest civilian honor to receive the Padma Bhushan, and said, “I adequately determine the President of India Madam Draupadi Murmu, Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Government of India to give the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award.
He thanked political leaders, media and even his critics: “For critics, even your harsh words intensified me.”
The actor shared special thanks to his family, especially his wife Shalini and children Anokha and Adik. “Shalini, my wife, the column of my life, you have stood with me through everything. My children, infinite, and Adik who bring meaning to every day-you are my balance and my reason.”

“For 33 years, you have accepted me, faults and everyone. Thank you for faith, silence, applause, patience and love. I try to be true for myself and you. As I take my motor racing career forward with patience and passion, I solve prayers and desires to all, I hope that I and our country will be proud.”
