Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to Indian original NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, who started his return journey from the International Space Station (ISS) after being stuck there for more than nine months today.
In a letter on 1 March, which was shared by Union Minister Jitendra Singh today on X, the Prime Minister said that he had questioned the good of Ms. Williams – who flew into the Orbital Lab on 5 June last year – when he met President Donald Trump and his predecessor, who met Biden during his visit to the United States.
The letter was followed by public hours after Ms. Williams and her colleague Buch Wilmor, who returned home from ISS to a 17 -hour trip.
PM Modi recalled that his name came in his conversation in a meeting with former NASA astronaut Mike Mastimino in Delhi this month.
PM Modi said, “We discussed how proud of how proud we are on your work. After this conversation, I cannot stop myself from writing you.”
“1.4 billion Indians have always been very proud of your achievements. Recent developments have re -displayed your inspirational fate and perseverance,” he wrote.

He said that his mother, Boney Pandya should be “curious”, wait for his return.
The Prime Minister said, “I am sure that the late Deepakbhai’s blessings are with you,” his father Deepak Pandya, who was a resident of his home state of Gujarat, and died in 2020.
PM Modi also said that he remembers to meet him and meet him during his visit to America in 2016.

PM Modi told the 59 -year -old astronaut, “Even though you are thousands of miles away, you are close to our hearts. People of India are praying for your good health and success in your mission.”
He said, “After your return, we are eager to see you in India. It would be happy for India to host one of its most magnificent daughters.”
She also sent her “hot relationship” to her husband Michael Williams.
Sunita Williams flew to space station in June
Sunita Williams and her associates, Buch Wilmor, flew to the Orbital Lab on 5 June last year, which was scheduled to have a day -to -day roundtrip to test the Boeing Starlineer on their first crew flight.
The spacecraft, however, developed problems of propulsion and was considered unfit to blow them back. It returned it instead.
