Yamdonga is a Telugu fantasy action drama originally released in theaters in 2007. 18 years after their debut, the producers decided to re -release the film in 4K. Although there were high expectations for its return to the big screen on 18 May, fans reacted differently. Many viewers left the cinema hall midway through the film.
In a viral video, many audience members were seen getting up from their seats and leaving the theater during the film. It appeared that he was disappointed with some aspects of JR NTR-Starr Yamdanga and chose to get out early.

Yamdonga is directed by SS Rajamouli and is co-written by his father, Vijayendra Prasad. Produced by Cherry and Gangaraju Gunnam under Vishwamitra works, the film stars Junior NTR, Priyamani and Mohan Babu in the lead roles. It is reportedly allegedly inspired by the Classic Yamagola of 1977 and mixes mythology with a modern story.
This plot follows the king, which is a short time thief from Hyderabad. After killing the goons hired by a rich family, the king’s soul is taken to Yamloka. However, he manages to steal the powerful Yampasam, bends tables on Yama and challenges his authority in hell.

The film was shot in Hyderabad and Ramoji Film City. On its release on August 15, 2007, Yamdonga became a blockbuster and one of the highest grossing Telugu films of the year.
On the work front, Junior NTR is set for the release of his Bollywood film War 2 with Hrithik Roshan. He is also preparing for his upcoming project with Prashant Neil, titled, titled.
Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli is currently working on SSMB29 starring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
