This week Honor unveiled the 300-series which consists of three models: vanilla, Pro and Ultra. All three models feature 50MP selfie cameras with 4K video capability, 50MP main and 12MP ultra-wide cameras on the back, as well as a 5,300mAh battery and IP65 dust and water resistance rating.
Special features of Honor 300 Ultra
The Honor 300 Pro is powered by last year’s flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and features a curved 6.78” OLED display with 1,224 x 2,700px resolution (10-bit color, 120Hz). The screen has a second module, a 2MP depth sensor, so it has a pill-shaped punch hole. These specs are shared with the Ultra model, which includes 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

The Honor 300 Ultra stands out with a better telephoto camera – 3.8x periscope versus 3x on the Pro, both with 50MP sensors. The Ultra also has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader (the other two use optical readers) and an additional storage tier (1TB).

The vanilla Honor 300 has a flat 6.7″ display (1,200 x 2,664px, 10-bit, 120Hz) and is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. There’s no telephoto camera and the battery only has wired charging – the same 100W as the two more expensive Rating as model.

Talking about pricing, here’s how much each Honor 300 model costs in China. Note that we don’t have information about a global launch yet, but the number series is a major part of Honor’s global presence. That said, the Honor 300 Ultra does have BDS satellite messaging – either that or the entire Ultra won’t be available globally. now for premium honor 300 ultra – Are the extra gifts worth the extra cost? To be honest, the difference between Pro and Ultra isn’t that big. A good zoom and a better fingerprint reader are definitely worth considering.
