The process of making this Japanese dish begins with dough shaped into a ball. Hot oil appears in a large wok. The dough ball is then placed on a large sieve inside the wok. Using another ladle, the ball is constantly rotated, increasing its size. Once the desired size is achieved, the ball is placed in a basket.

In the caption, the restaurant raved about the dish. They wrote (English translation), “This is a great dish made with careful monitoring of the oil temperature and cooking speed, and the crispy texture and fragrant sesame aroma are amazing!
