Heeriye singer Jasleen Royal opened for Coldplay in Mumbai and performed a memorable duet with Chris Martin. Both of them also sang the song We Pray on stage.
In a magical moment for Indian music fans, singer-songwriter Jasleen Royal introduced Coldplay during their much-awaited concert in Mumbai yesterday evening. Jasleen, known for her tracks like Ranjha, Sang Rahiyo, Din Shagna Da and Heeriye, gave a stellar performance before joining Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for a special duet.
The pair performed We Pray, enthralling the crowd with their harmonious collaboration. Actor Vijay Varma, who was one of the attendees, shared videos from the memorable evening on his Instagram stories.
One of their clips captured Chris Martin and Jasleen performing together, with Vijay playfully pointing out Jasleen’s talent and writing, “See, Chris agrees”.

We Pray was originally sung by Coldplay, Burna Boy, Aliana and Little Simz.
Ahead of her stage performance with Coldplay, Jasleen had shared her setlist on Instagram, which included tracks like Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan, Ranjha, Assi Sajna. She shared the post with a caption that read, “Any of your favorites missing? (sic)”
Coldplay will now have two more shows in Mumbai on January 19 and 21, as well as shows in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26.
