Well, in the video, Bhagyashree demonstrated a step-by-step process of preparing Palak Lababdar. She also highlighted the benefits of this healthy vegetable. Bhagyashree said, “Get your energy levels back with this yummy dish that is rich in iron, potassium, magnesium and vitamin B6. Rich in fibre, it is also a great dish for those trying to maintain their insulin levels. This is a delicious spinach mix that is finger-licking worth eating. Try it at home.”

Here’s the detailed recipe of Bhagyashree’s Palak Lababdar recipe:

Put ghee in a pan and heat it for some time. Then add asafoetida, cumin powder, 2-3 Kashmiri red chillies, 2-3 teaspoons coriander, water chestnut and gram lentils.

Roast the ingredients for a while till they turn brown before mixing them in a mixer grinder.

Add garlic to the remaining ghee in the pan and let it heat up. Then add onion, green chillies, spinach and coriander to it. Also, add one teaspoon turmeric powder and the blended paste to the pan.

Finally, add some red chillies and water and leave the dish in the oven for another 8-10 minutes. That’s it – Palak Lababdar is ready to serve.
