War 2 is the sequel to the 2019 film war and fans are eagerly awaited to hit the big screen. Hrithik Roshan will once again be seen in his action full of action. He recently opened up about the detective film and revealed that he was ‘proud’ on it. The actor promised that this would be ‘larger and better’ than the first part. Hrithik also called Junior his ‘favorite’ co-star.
Hrithik Roshan participated in the Rangotak program in Atlanta, United States on 4 April 2025. He spoke with the crowd about his upcoming film Yudh 2. He said, “Very Dar Raha Tha Part 2 of Main’s Part 2 would be (I was very scared how Part 2 will come out), but I have to say that I am very proud of this film.”
Giving an update on the shooting of the film, Hrithik revealed that everything was shot except a song. He shared that the track was with Junior NTR and he was going to shoot for it soon. Hrithik hoped that he would do well in the song. He mentioned that his co-stars were nervous after being amazing.
The actor made a big promise, saying, “But this film is going to be bigger and better than Part 1, this is my promise. So best wishes to me.”

During the incident, Hrithik Roshan also participated in a rapid fire segment. He was asked to name his favorite co-star. In response, Hrithik said, “My favorite co-star is actually junior NTR.” He said that he only did the film war 2 with him.
Taking a bath with Junior NTR with praise, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai kept the actor continued, “He is amazing, he is fantastic. He is such a good team partner. I think we have done something good.” Hrithik concluded that he could not wait for the audience to see War 2 and confirmed his release date on 14 August 2025.
War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. In this, Kiara Advani is shown as a female lead. The action thriller will have the next installment in the Spy Universe created by Yash Raj Films.
