Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who attended IIFA 2024 with his wife Anupama Chopra, announced his next film. The film, titled Zero Se Shuruthi, is a prequel to Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail. It is scheduled to release on 13 December.

The director shared that the cast will be the same. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, based on the book by Anurag Pathak, 12th Fail tells the story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rises from extreme poverty to become an IPS officer. The film highlights his inspirational journey and the vital role of his wife, IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, in his success.
