Venkatesh Daggubati starrer Shankrantiki Vastunam hit a big screen on 14 January during Sankranti and Pongal festival. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film became a blockbuster in theaters due to its story and emerged as one of the biggest hits in Telugu cinema this year. Amidst the enthusiasm around the film, the actor has confirmed his sequel.
During the success meeting of Sankranthi Vastunam, Venkatesh Daggubati confirmed that he would return to rebuild the same magic with the sequel of the film. He also announced that the film is scheduled to release during the 2027 Pongal festival. The director had earlier indicated in each other, assuming that the story was more scope. The film revolves around the life of YD Raju, which has been assigned to find Satya Akila, CEO of a multinational company. ACP Meenakshi IPS, his ex -girlfriend, wants to take help after kidnapping from the farmhouse of the ruling party of Satya. Chief Minister Kesav also urged Raju to take up the matter. He agrees and joins the army with Meenakshi to save the truth.
When Raju’s wife is emphasized on coming with Bhagalakshmi, the situation becomes complicated. He suspects that he may re -connect with Meenakshi. It leads to a series of exciting and comic events as they work on the rescue mission.
