Actor Varun Dhawan met ‘Mumbai Cha Raja’ Rohit Sharma at the Ambani family’s sangeet ceremony. He shared a picture with him and expressed his happiness over it.
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan met T20 World Cup-winning captain Rohit Sharma at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony on July 5. After the star-studded event, Varun shared a picture with Rohit and addressed him as ‘Mumbai cha Raja’.
Several Bollywood actors, fashion celebrities and Indian cricket team players attended the grand musical concert held at the Jio World Convention Centre on Friday.
On Saturday, Varun Dhawan shared a picture with Rohit and wrote an emotional note expressing his gratitude. “Mumbai cha Raja @rohitsharma45. Humble, passionate, funny, carrying the hopes of a billion people with a smile on his face. It was great to meet the Indian captain last night and spend some time with him and talk about cricket,” Varun wrote.

In a video that surfaced online, Varun can be seen hugging Rohit and talking to him for a while. Varun attended the event with his wife Natasha Dalal.

Anant and Radhika’s wedding celebrations began with the Mameru ceremony held on Wednesday, July 3. The couple will get married on July 12 in Mumbai.
