Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, starring Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, was released in theaters on December 25, 2025, on the occasion of Christmas. However, after a weak opening day, this rom-com is struggling at the box office and has collected an estimated Rs 6 crore on the third day.
The film starring Kartik Aryan and Ananya Panday struggled to strike a strong chord with the audience from day one and collected only Rs 8.50 crore. Despite early trends of advance bookings indicating double-digit numbers, actual figures fell short of expectations, mainly due to feeding into pre-sales. The 3-day total includes a large amount of self-booking, and the actual number may be off by at least 30%.
Furthermore, on the second day, TMMTMTTM managed to collect an estimated Rs 5.5 crore at the box office, indicating a poor trend. The film continues to struggle due to the tremendous and sustained success of Dhurandhar.
Additionally, James Cameron-directed Avatar: Fire and Ash also released last week, making the Kartik and Ananya starrer face even tougher competition at the box office.
In addition to receiving below-average reviews, the rom-com genre has struggled to strike a chord with audiences in recent years.
