Bhumi Pednekar is ready to attract his fans with his upcoming web projects, The Royals. The upcoming Netflix series also includes Ishaan Khat, Zeenat Aman, Dino Moriya, Nora Fatehi and in lead roles. While the release date is yet to be announced, the actress expressed her excitement about the show. He also admitted that he had never imagined the ‘quintage heroine’ on the screen.
During a recent conversation with HT City, Bhumi Pednekar said, “I am very excited for Royals. I do not want to raise my hopes. I want the show to be noted.
The actress, who started her career with an unconventional role in Dum Laga’s Hesha, admitted that she never “imagined” such a change. She insisted on the upcoming show despite doing “Quintessiant Heroine Part”, she will not think twice to change herself for a role.
He explained his point, mentioning that his success lies in the fact that 10 years ago, the girl who started her career with DLKH is also doing such a character.
Bhumi is enjoying the commercial place, but also noted that it was his first film that felt her the kind of cinema that she wanted to do – one who entertains people well, but also brings about a change or starts a certain conversation.
He argued that he had created a place for himself where he expects to do such roles. However, the day he stops doing such roles, it will lose its credibility and there will be disappointment within the audience.
The teaser of the upcoming show, The Royals was released during a special launch event organized by Netflix earlier this year. Directed by Priyanka Ghosh and Nupur Aghna, the series includes Shikhi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Nora Fatehi, Milind Soman, Dino Moriya, Chunky Pandey, Vihan Samat, Kavya Trehan, Sumukhi Suresh, Udit Arora and Lisa Mishra.
In particular, the upcoming series marks the return of experienced actor Zeenat Aman after a long gap.
