Poco has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra will launch on 27 March at a Singapore program globally. It marks the onset of F7 Ultra, which is a new extra for the F-Series lineup, which is expected to sit on top of the border. Rumors suggest that these devices may be a global variants of the Redmi K80 series, which was launched in China last year. Next to the official announcement, detailed specifications and pricing details have already been revealed, making us a good idea to expect what to expect.

Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra: Rumor specifications and features

Both Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra are expected to have a 6.67 -inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,200 x 1,440 pixels resolution. The screen will offer pixel density of 526 PPI. The design is asked to include a center-graded holes for the selfie camera, the edges of the quad-race and the narrow and modern form for a smooth and modern form. The volume rocker and power button will be placed on the right edge, while the lower edge will give home to the USB Type-C port, speaker grill, SIM tray and microphone.

Back, both phones are set to facilitate a circular camera module on the left side, which houses the rear cameras and an LED flash. The Poco F7 Pro is rumored to get in blue, silver and black options, while F7 may be available in Ultra black and yellow.

The Poco F7 Pro is expected to be operated by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 General 3 Chipset from Snapdragon 8 General 2 in its predecessor. This will probably come with 12GB RAM and two storage options: 256GB and 512GB.

On the other hand, Poco F7 Ultra is rumored to be a notch up with Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, which makes it a powerhouse for gaming and multitasking. It will reportly offer 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage, which gives food to users who demand top level performance.

The Poco F7 Pro will sports a dual-rear camera setup, possibly 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and 8-megapixel secondary lens. For selfie, there may be a 20-megapixel front camera.

F7 Ultra, however, packs a more advanced triple-rear camera system, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, 50-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS and 32-megapixel ultra-wind-angle lenses. For selfie, it can also have a 32-megapixel front camera.

Poco F7 Pro expects a 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. While the capacity of the battery has increased from 5,000mAh cells in its predecessor, fast charging is downgraded from 120W. On the other hand, F7 is rumored to pack a 5,300mAh battery with Ultra, 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support, providing more versatile charging experience.

Both phones are expected to run on Android 15-based Hyperos 2 and come up with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

According to the leak, the Poco F7 Pro can start at the Euro 599 (about Rs 57,000), while the F7 Ultra can be priced at the Euro 749 (about Rs 71,000). For comparison, Poco F6 Pro launched the Euro 499 (about Rs 47,000), but was not released in India. Instead, Poco F6 was the only model from the F-series to launch in India, starting from Rs 29,999.

The head of Poco India, Himanshu Tandon, recently asked users on X (East Twitter) if they wanted to see one of these devices in the country. If the response is positive, we can see at least one of these models soon making our way for India.
