Vanessa Kirby made her Marvel debut in Fantastic Four: First Steps. The actress portrayed the role of Suu Storm in the latest release with Pedro Pascal. While the film loves the audience a lot, Kirby opened his experience on the set, especially living around with Robert Downey Junior.
Actor upcoming Avengers: Dr. in Doomsde. Doom is ready to play the villain role. While the details of the role are kept in wrapped, the audience got the first glimpse of the character in the post-credit scenes of the direction of Matt Shakman.
While the Oscar-winner Star had only one scene throughout the film, he made sure to stay on the set at all times while taking care of members of other actors.
Vanessa Kirby expressed enthusiasm over working with Robert Downey Junior.
Sitting for an interview with the variety, the actress revealed how she loved Robert Downey Junior on the set of Fantastic Four. Mission Impossible Star said, “Robert Never Not on Set. He is always there.” In addition, the British native revealed that he gave the actor the title of Godfather. Further in the talks, Kirby claimed, “He is our leader. We call him his Godfather. He takes care of us.”
While the actress and Downey Jr. rarely shared screen space in the new film, fans can expect many of them to see together in Doomsde.
Kirby resumed his role of Suu Storm and join a Star-Stad Cast, including original Avengers, The New Avengers and his co-actor from Fantastic Four. All of them Dr. Will form teams to fight the evil of Doom.
In conversation with the media portal, Vanessa reflected her character’s leadership qualities, which played a major role in her decision making. The actress said, “This is a will for her to be a will for Matt Shakman’s vision and want to be loyal to comics. It was a pleasure to return and read from 1961.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps are successfully running in theaters, while Avengers: Doomsde will hit the screen in December 2026.
