Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil is a political comedy based on the story of Jeevaratnam, the chairman of a village panchayat, who is tasked with ensuring that a marriage ceremony runs smoothly. Although things start off normally, the day takes a drastic turn when the neighbor to the wedding house dies, and the President is expected to fulfill responsibilities there as well.
With both parties refusing to accommodate, Jeevaratnam is forced to balance both events, leading him into a web of chaos. As tensions rise, the Panchayat President finds himself at the center of the unrest, tasked with resolving the impasse and restoring harmony.

Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil stars Jeeva in the lead role along with Prarthana Nathan, Thambi Ramaiah, Anuraj, Ilavarasu, Jensen Dhiwakar, Sarajin Kumar, Jayavant, Rajesh Pandian, Amit Mohan and many others in lead roles.
Co-written and directed by Nitish Sahdev of Falimi fame, the film also has writing contributions from Sanjo Joseph and Anuraj Obi. The film is produced by Kannan Ravi under the banner Kannan Ravi Productions.
The film’s songs and background score are composed by Vishnu Vijay, with Bablu Aju and Arjun Babu serving as cinematographer and editor respectively.

See Jeeva for the last time. She was seen in the lead role in the horror action thriller Agathiya, directed by Vijay. Apart from SMS Actor, the film also stars Arjun Sarja, Raashi Khanna, Edward Sonnenblick, Matilda, Radin Kingsley, Shah Ra, Senthil and many others in lead roles.
Looking ahead, the actor will next be seen in the lead role in Joliya Iruntha Oruthan. The upcoming comedy film is directed by M. Rajesh, which marks the actor’s reunion with the director after the blockbuster classic Shiva Manasula Shakthi (SMS).
