International singer Taylor Swift wishes her ‘best friends’ Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds all the best as their Marvel film, Deadpool and Wolverine, releases in theatres on Friday, July 26.

‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is releasing in cinemas today on July 26 and Taylor Swift has confirmed the same. The global star took to social media to praise Ryan Reynolds and also praised one of her best friends Hugh Jackman.

“Over the last few years I have watched one of my best friends on the planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness and magic into this film,” Swift wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself with Hugh and Ryan.

Calling the Marvel film one of Hugh’s best works, the singer further added, “He’s done some of the best work of his life, and this movie feels like a real portal to bliss, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don’t know how he did it. But that’s just Hugh!”

Taylor Swift also took a funny dig at the people in the photo, other than herself and Hugh, saying, “These other people crashed the photo and we were very polite to ask them to leave.” The photo features Ryan, Blake Lively and Shawn Levy. She concluded with another joke, “Hats off to Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds’ character in the movie), aka my godkid’s sperm donor!”

The singer also urged people who “like incredible things” to buy tickets Deadpool and Wolverine.

Deadpool and Wolverine are receiving positive reviews from critics.
