Suriya has finally reacted to the ongoing controversy between Pawan Kalyan and Karthi, which was linked to the Tirupati laddu controversy. The Meyazhagan actor apologised for his words, while Pawan Kalyan also accepted it after initially expressing his displeasure. Now, both the actors have come to an agreement and put an end to the issue.
Pawan Kalyan wrote on his X handle, “I sincerely appreciate your kind gesture and prompt response as well as your respect for our shared traditions. Matters relating to our sacred institutions like Tirupati and its revered laddus hold deep emotional weight for millions of devotees and it is essential for all of us to handle such subjects with care.”
He concluded his note with his best wishes for the entire team of Meyazhagan including Suriya and Jyothika. Reacting to Pawan Kalyan’s statement, Suriya wrote, “Thank you for your warm wishes sir!”

Let us tell you that the issue started when Karthi said at an event in Hyderabad that “we should not talk about laddu right now, it is a sensitive topic.” Although the actor did not intend to hurt anyone’s religious sentiments, Pawan Kalyan condemned his words and reacted strongly on the issue.
Addressing the media, the veteran actor asked people from the film industry to refrain from making such comments. He asked people to either support it or choose not to say anything. Speaking about Karthi’s comment, he said, “Don’t you ever dare to say something like that.” Pawan Kalyan further said that this is not a funny issue and people should be careful on such matters.
However, Karthi apologised for his words and wrote on his x handle, “Dear @PawanKalyan Sir, With deep respect for you, I apologise for any unintentional misunderstanding. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I always hold our traditions dear. Regards.”
