Sunny Kaushal was last seen in the film Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba. In this romantic thriller, he shared the screen with Vikrant Massey and Taapsee Pannu. Recently, Sunny talked about his offscreen bond with Vikrant and told that he sees Vicky Kaushal in his co-star. He said that Vikrant is like an elder brother to him.

In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Sunny Kaushal said, “Vikrant, I see Vicky in him. He is like an elder brother to me.” Sunny also recalled what his father Sham Kaushal once told him about Vikrant Massey. He said that his father was the action director in Vikrant’s film Mumbaikar and they had worked together a lot.

Sunny told that his father had said, ‘After meeting him, I remembered you and Vicky.’

Talking about her and Vikrant’s similar upbringing, Sunny said, “Somehow our upbringing is very similar, the way we come from.” She also mentioned that whenever they shared childhood stories with each other, they turned out to be quite similar.

Meanwhile, Phir I Hai Haseen Dillruba releases on Netflix on August 9, 2024. It is a sequel to the 2021 film Haseen Dillruba. Bankrolled by Colour Yellow Productions and T-Series Films, the film is directed by Jayapradha Desai and written by Kanika Dhillon. Earlier, Vicky Kaushal had penned a special note on his Instagram Stories praising the film.

Appreciating the standards of the sequel, he praised the entire team, saying, “A notch up in twists, turns, romance and romcoms from the first part… what a treat. Don’t miss this one! Congratulations team.”

Vicky also praised his brother Sunny Kaushal’s acting. He said, “@sunsunnykhez you have really surprised me with your ability to play such an intriguing character. Very well done. I know how excited you were to play this character and I could see how much you enjoyed playing it. So proud! Go ahead and rise higher brother!”
