Michael B. Jordan plays twins in the upcoming horror drama, Sinners. After a massive online campaign on social media, the actor released the first look of the film on Tuesday, September 24. Jordan and Ryan Coogler have teamed up once again for a new horror drama after delivering hits like Black Panther, Fruitvale Station and Creed. According to the trailer released by Warner Bros, the star cast is seen fighting the fear of the unknown.
In a cryptic logline shared by the producers, it is revealed that the brothers try to leave their troubles behind and return to their hometown, but problems and fears follow them both. In the film, Jordan’s character suddenly says, “I’ve been all over this world. I’ve seen people die in ways I didn’t know were possible.” He goes on to say, “Of all the things I’ve seen, I’ve never seen any monsters, any ghosts, any magic… until now.”
Apart from the Creed actor, the film will also star Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell, Jamie Lawson, and Omar Benson Miller.
In February, Warner Bros. Studios bought the film after winning a fierce bidding competition. The production house announced the title of the film on Monday and then promoted it with the hashtag #sinnersarecoming. The poster was also released the next day and Jordan gave the tagline, “Dance with the devil, and he will come to your door.”

Li Jun Li and Lola Kirke are among the other lead actors in the film. Yao, Miles Catton, and Peter Dreimanis complete the group of new actors.
Apart from Jordan, Delroy Lindo is also playing an important role in the film. No information has been given about the actor’s role yet, but it is being said that Lindo can also add a musical element to the film.
Lindo has played several iconic roles in big-budget films such as Da 5 Bloods, which also starred the late Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman. Additionally, the actor has appeared in The Harder They Fail, Get Shorty, Gone in 60 Seconds, and many other projects.
Meanwhile, as far as Sinners is concerned, the film will release in theatres on March 7, 2025.
