Singer Mika Singh to support cancer patients through new initiative
Singer Mika Singh recently inaugurated the Indian Cancer Institute in New Delhi. The singer, who partnered with Dr Tarang Krishna, founding member of ICI, vowed to provide free treatment to the underprivileged.
Singer Mika Singh along with actor Suniel Shetty inaugurated the Indian Cancer Institute in Delhi. At ICI, patients will have access to chemotherapy, surgery, targeted therapy and immunotherapy services. Mika, who has partnered with Dr. Tarang Krishna, founding member of ICI, highlighted that they will contribute to the larger cause of ‘change’ for those in need by offering free treatment.
During the press conference at the event, Tlang explained how free treatment is available even for patients with advanced cancer stages.
“Any laborer, tea seller and daily wage laborer below the poverty line are eligible for free treatment. Free OPD every Friday 3 to 5 pm. We will not charge a single penny for consultation, treatment and chemotherapy. Even surgery, if needed, will be free,” Dr Krishna said.
