The Tamil Action thriller selfie was widely obtained and was appreciated by the audience on its first dramatic release in April 2022. The film was postponed to discover a new dimension with its plot, something that was not touched before. In addition, its script was also praised, seeing it as a first director’s project. And now the film can be easily streamed online on OTT by fans.
When and where to see selfies
Selfie is now on OTT. Well, the action thriller Flick which was a commercial success can now stream on the simpleth app from 21 February. However, it will not be available to the audience in India.
Sharing the same, the OTT veteran dropped a poster of the film on X (East Twitter) and wrote “#GVP X #GVM’s #Selfie, except India, streaming worldwide from February 21.”

Official trailer and selfie plot
The story of the selfie revolves around a hot-headed college student, named Kanal. He has been in a long time against his father, who overburded and pressured him to do engineering just for public reputation.
While Kanal always wanted to pursue a commercial career, he was surprised to know about his father getting a seat in an engineering college in a fake way and decided to dig further in the matter.
However, he surprisingly stumbled, an underground college entry racket is a hidden existence that students use bribery and muscle power to secure admission to major institutions.
Selfie cast and crew
Apart from GV Prakash, the main actors of the selfie include Gautham Vasudev Menon, including other actors such as Varsha Bolmma, Vidya Pradeep, Vagai Chandrashekhar, Sangili Murugan, Subramaniam Shiva and more.
The film is written and directed by the first filmmaker Mathi Maran. It is produced by DG Film Company. GV Prakash himself has set a music score for action flicks.
