Ryan Reynolds jokes his daughter Inez is the ‘only co-star’ he argued with on the sets of Deadpool and Wolverine

Must read

It seems Ryan Reynolds has stopped making his wife Blake Lively the victim of his funny social media posts, as the Deadpool and Wolverine star has taken aim at their 7-year-old daughter Inez this time.

The father of four joked in an Instagram post on Thursday, August 1, that his second-eldest daughter made a cameo in his recently released film as a character named Kidpool, resulting in her becoming “the only co-star” he’s argued with. “Most people think Kidpool is the dirtiest. But she’s also really good at backtalking and never takes out the trash,” Reynolds captioned his social media post, which featured a photo of the father-daughter duo dressed in Deadpool costumes.

Ryan’s other three children, in addition to Inez, also played roles in their father’s film. According to IMDb, 9-year-old James played the role of the screaming mutant Olin; the actor’s youngest daughter played Babypool; and according to the film’s credits, 4-year-old Betty played a role behind the scenes referred to as the High Jackman Wrangler. Though details about the latter role are scarce, according to Reynolds, his youngest daughter is one of Jackman’s biggest fans. “My 4-year-old Betty loves Hugh unconditionally. And she expresses that love through violence without hesitation. So she attacks him, thinking he has claws and he has a healing factor — which he might,” he told PEOPLE ahead of his highly anticipated film’s release in late July.

Blake Lively surprised theater-goers by taking on the role of Ladypool, a role that, according to People magazine, Deadpool comic book creator Rob Liefeld thought of her for after seeing her in Gossip Girl in 2010.

Fans have been somewhat certain of Lively’s involvement in the film ever since her cameo as Lady Deadpool was announced. The actress herself hinted at the possibility when she appeared in a Deadpool-inspired outfit at the film’s world premiere event in New York on Monday, July 22.

The Marvel film features cameo appearances from Chris Evans, Henry Cavill, Channing Tatum and more. Deadpool and Wolverine is currently playing in theaters.
