In a separate announcement, the film’s production house, Dawn Pictures, confirmed the decision in an official statement. “We would like to inform the media and audiences that the release parashakti Postponed to January 10, 2026,” the note reads.
The statement further added that the move was taken after extensive discussions with exhibitors and distributors in the global markets. According to the producers, the strong confidence shown in the theatrical potential of the film during the Pongal period led to the decision to push the release date.
