The Realme GT series has been refreshed with the launch of two new smartphones in India – Realme GT 7 and GT 7T, GT 6 and GT 6T of last year. Like the previous generation, the new GT7 series devices are matched quite equally. Neither the phone is much better than the other, and both are so good for their price that it is difficult to recommend each other. So, should you buy Realme GT 7 only because it is a more expensive option? Or does GT 7t make more understandable, offer smart value in terms of features and values? Here is a wide comparison to help you make decisions.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Design & Build
When it comes to design and construction, both phones are equally the same. Realme GT 7 weighs 206 grams and is 8.3 mm thick, while GT 7T is slightly lighter at 203 grams, but has the same thickness. The black blue and ice black colors on both are so close, in fact it is difficult to tell them different.
Both phones come with a plastic frame and a fiberglass back panel. Realme claims that it is the world’s first graphine backkawar on a smartphone, designed to keep the surface cool and comfortable to touch. You also get Armorcell Glass Protection for the display.
However, there are some visual differences. Realme GT 7T comes in a dual-tone racing yellow variants that stand out, while GT 7 has a special Eston Martin Dream version. This version is slightly bulk, weighing 211 grams and 8.7 mm thick.
Overall, this round is more or less a draw. In fact, Realme GT 7T is entitled to additional credits for offering almost the same premium feel and looks as more expensive GT 7, but at low cost.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Performance
There is no big difference here. Both phones come with flat 6.8-inch AMOLED panels with 1.5K resolution, with a 120Hz refresh rate and a summit of 6,000 notes. They also offer a 2,600Hz instant touch sampling rate, making them highly responsible during use. Interestingly, the Chinese version of GT7 gets a 144Hz panel, but the Indian version is affixed with 120Hz – the same display that is also used at GT 7T.
Overall, both the devices provide an experience at a top notch, but it looks like a better deal on the more economical GT7T.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Performance
This is the place where the real difference is contained. Both phones come up to 12GB with LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. However, they vary greatly in terms of processing power.
Realme GT 7T MediaTek Dimentation 8400 is powered by Max Chipset-a very enabled mid-range processor that makes rivals such as Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 and Exynos 1480 better in this price bracket. It is a solid artist and easily handles most tasks.
On the other hand, Realme GT 7 is in a completely separate league. Powered by MediaTek Dimption 9400E, it competes with major processors such as chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and recently declared Snapdragon 8S Gen 4. This is a great version of distribution 9300+ to premium devices such as Vivo X100S Pro in China.
Therefore, while Realme GT 7T is not a slut, GT 7 distributes top -level major level performance without specific flagship value. It can easily go easily with IQO 12 or OnePlus 13R (price of competitive phone Rs 45,000), and possibly improve them in some areas as well.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Camera
Camera performance is another significant difference. Realme GT 7 has a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 50-megapixel IMX906 primary sensor. You also get a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Realme GT 7T, meanwhile, comes with a 50-megapixel IMX896 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel front camera. However, it lacks a telephoto lens.
Realme GT 7 has a clear lead here for its zoom capabilities and more advanced ISP (image signal processor). It supports 8K and 4K up to 120fps on 30fps. It can also shoot 4K/60fps from back and front cameras.
Realme GT 7T is more limited in this regard. It can shoot up to 4K/60fps from rear and front cameras, but does not provide the same video flexibility as GT 7.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Battery & Charging
Both Realme GT 7 and GT 7T feature 7,000mAh battery and support 120W fast charging, including charger. They take about 40 minutes to fully charge and support bypass charging, which is easy during gaming. A small advantage of GT 7 is that it offers 7.5W reverse wired charging – a feature missing at GT 7T. It is a minor perk, but is worth noting.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Price in India
The price of Realme GT 7 in India starts at Rs 39,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version. The 12GB RAM variant with 256GB and 512GB storage is priced at Rs 42,999 and Rs 46,999 respectively. The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option (Dream Edition) is priced at Rs 49,999.
On the other hand, Realme GT 7T, Aadhaar 8GB RAM + 256GB is starting from Rs 34,999 for storage options. 12GB RAM variants with 256GB and 512GB storage costs Rs 37,999 and Rs 41,999 respectively.
Realme GT 7 vs Realme GT 7T: Last View

GT 7T stands out as a smart purchase for most users, providing a flagship -like experience at a more budget -friendly price.
