Actress Indira Krishna, who has worked with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Animal’, has shared a new BTS picture with the actor from the sets of their upcoming film ‘Ramayana’. Along with the picture, she also expressed her gratitude towards the actor.
The two can be seen hugging each other in a picture shared on Indira’s social media on Tuesday, June 11. In the caption, she wrote, “Animalling. Thank you for your care, love and kindness and your wonderful gesture, Ranbir. Co-star (sic).”

Earlier, it was reported that the shooting of Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of ‘Ramayan’ has begun. The shooting began with the secondary cast. Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Lord Ram, is yet to join the crew. Sources told IndiaToday.in that Ranbir will join the crew in the next few days. Tiwari and his team performed a small puja to seek blessings for the cast and crew on the sets before the shoot. Sai Pallavi will play Sita in the film.
Ranbir is all set to play the character and he is spending hours reading dialogues and sending videos to Tiwari. Sources said that the film is being made on a huge scale and the VFX and special effects will be of international standard.
Ranbir was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. It also featured Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri in lead roles. Apart from ‘Ramayan’, Ranbir also has ‘Love and War’ with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is expected to release in 2025.
