The wait is finally over! The first glimpse of Nitesh Tiwari’s much awaited film ‘Ramayana’ is out and fans cannot just curb his enthusiasm. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey, starring, promises to be a film grand and a visual spectacle.
With the first glimpse of the film to receive love from all quartersFans shared their takeaets with the video. While some praised Kapoor’s glimpse, others were in fear of background music.
One of the X users adopted on the teaser and wrote, “The biggest film by the greatest actor of #Ramayana. Mark my words, it will be the first Bollywood film to cross 10,000 crores (SIC), while another wrote,” Ranbir Kapoor is the real (SIC) as Shri Ram. “A third user echoed similar feelings and wrote,” Ranbir Kapoor is coming to rule the global cinema with Ramayana (SIC). “Another user shouted background music and wrote,” Hans Zimmer is a magician, a background score !!
The launch was observed with several screenings in nine Indian cities, as well as underlining the global vision of the project – with a major appearance at Times Square, New York. The film delays the eternal clash between Ram and Ravana, which aims to close the audience with their scale, story and spectacle worldwide.
Located by Brahma, Vishnu, and the cosmic trinity of Shiva, in a mythological era, the story follows Ravana – once an unexpected demon child – who rises to endanger the universal balance. To restore harmony, Vishnu descends to Earth as Rama, establishing a platform for an epic conflict.
Produced by nominated Malhotra and co-produced by Yash, the film is supported by Prime Focus Studio and Monster Mind Creation, in collaboration with DNEG-eight-eight-bar Oscar winner VFX Powerhouse. Part 1 Diwali has been determined for a global release during 2026, with Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
