Veteran actor Rajinikanth’s team issued a strong explanation in Malaysia, refuting the claims of a scheduled meeting and greeting program, warning fans against falling that they have labeled as “completely unauthorized” promotion.

In an official statement released by the actor’s team, he said that the so -called “Meat and Greet Thalaor” competition being promoted by Malik streams in Malaysia has not been approved or authorized by Rajinikanth or his representatives.

“All dear, we would like to clarify that the ‘Meat and Greet Thalaor’ competition which is currently being promoted by Malik streams in Malaysia, is completely unauthorized, fake, and announced from Thalaor (SIC) without obtaining any prior permission,” the statement states.

The team cautioned fans and public against participating in the competition, making them fear that they may confuse fans of experienced actor.

“We recommend fans and the public not to participate in this misleading activity (SIC),” the statement said.

Amidst increasing online discussion about this incident, many fans believed that they believed that there was a rare opportunity to meet the iconic star. However, Rajinikanth’s team has urged everyone to disregard the announcement and help spread awareness.

“We request your kind of cooperation in spreading this explanation to ensure that fans are not misled. Thanks (SIC),” the statement states.

Rajinikanth, known by millions of people as Thalaor, enjoys a huge fan worldwide. False propaganda and unauthorized use of his name are not new, but his team has consistently taken a strong stand against any activities.

So far, no official fan engagement incidents in Malaysia have been planned or confirmed.

The actor was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Cool’. The film also starred Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan and Aamir Khan in the lead roles.
