On Tuesday, the Vettaiyan actor had to undergo an elective procedure involving the placement of a stent in the aorta to treat swelling in the blood vessel leading from his heart. The actor’s condition is stable and he is likely to be discharged in a day or two.

K Annamalai shared a photo of Rajinikanth and PM Modi and mentioned that the latter wished the actor a speedy recovery.
