Actress Shilpa Shetty recently turned one year old. She celebrated her 50th birthday with her husband, Raj Kundra, sister Shamita Shetty with her other family members in Croatia. A few days after the celebration, a video of Shilpa indulged in a hot argument went viral. Raj Kundra has now called the experience ‘depths’.
In a new conversation with Hindustan Times, Raj Kundra broke her silence on the viral video and shared her experience of going to a restaurant in Croatia. Kundra revealed that she had booked the table for Shilpa Shetty’s birthday a year ago. However, he came to know that the table was given to another group.
When Shilpa and her family expressed concern about the “double-booking error”, she was asked to remain silent, which caused the celebrity couple disappointed. This increased the situation, turned into a warm argument.
Kundra said, “As someone has run a restaurant, I was deeply disappointed to deal with the situation, especially I had to wait with my elderly parents, mother-in-law and 20 guests.”
Raj Kundra described his feelings and said that he planned a special evening for his family; However, it turned out to be unnecessarily stressful. Allegedly, the incident occurred on June 9, 2025, in Hawar Island, Croatia, a day after the 50th birthday celebration of the actress.
The Instagram user who posted the viral video claims that the couple had a warm quarrel with a foreigner who was enjoying their food in the restaurant. The user also alleged that when the foreigner asked him to reduce his volume, Kundra replied to him, “You don’t know who we are.”
The video in the discussion does not have a clear view of the couple and their family members. However, it facilitates a loud voice with someone shouting, “Don’t talk to us, we don’t want to hear you.”
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty was last seen in the film Sukhe in 2023. The actress is now ready for KD-The Devil. He is married to Raj Kundra for 16 years. The couple tied the knot on November 22, 2009. He welcomed his son Vayan Raj Kundra in 2012. His daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra was born in 2020 through surrogacy.
