Pushpa 2 crosses Rs 100 crore advance booking mark worldwide; Sells 2.5 lakh pre-sale tickets in India
Ahead of its release, Pushpa 2 is receiving huge number of advance bookings across the world. As of 9 PM on December 3, 2024, Sukumar’s directorial crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in its advance sales across the four-day extended opening weekend globally. Out of which, tickets worth Rs 75 crore have already been booked for the opening day alone. By the end of the day, opening day advance bookings in India alone will exceed Rs 100 crore.
Pushpa 2 will break the opening record of Bahubali 2 in India
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 is set to set benchmarks on the opening day (December 5, 2024). Bahubali 2: The Conclusion, which earned Rs 200 crore on the first day, holds the record for the biggest opening ever. Pushpa sequel will break the record of the 2017 film directed by SS Rajamouli on the first day of its release. It has set a target of earning Rs 235 crore on the first day. Allu Arjun’s upcoming mass action drama, Pushpa 2, is eyeing the biggest opening ever in North India. It is expected to earn at least Rs 60 crore on the first day.
