Director Aditya Dhar urged fans to avoid sharing spoilers of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He thanked the audience for the success of the first film and called on them to keep the surprises intact for the sequel ahead of its release on March 19.

Tremendous response from the audience to the first film
Dhar said that when he and his team put their heart and soul into both parts, he realized that the film was no longer his. In an emotional note to the audience, he expressed his gratitude for the way people have embraced it and made it their own with so much love and support.
A statement shared by Aditya on social media read, “To my dearest, most extraordinary Dhurandhar family, Dhurandhar releases in theaters worldwide on December 5, 2025. And since then, you didn’t just watch our film. You loved it. You lived it. You appreciated every cool detail, debated every moment, rewatched it, and noticed things I never even thought about.”
He spoke to the audience from his edit table about the film’s journey, “then the country’s, and now the world’s”. Dhar called it the most humble and touching gift a filmmaker could receive.

“So when we sat down to make Dhurandhar: RevengeWe knew one thing with absolute certainty: We had to surprise you,” they wrote, adding that they had to make the audience feel emotions they weren’t ready for – deeply, honestly – and that’s never easy.
He said that this is how movies should be experienced and not “in a blurry image on one’s phone”. “Now I am trusting you to protect it. With all my love and gratitude. Bharat Mata ki Jai,” Dhar concluded the statement.
Multilingual release on festival weekend
Dhurandhar: Revenge Will be released worldwide on March 19 on Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid. It will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Directed by Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and others.
