Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan told his fans at a meeting that he will continue making films, but serving the people is his current priority.

Pawan Kalyan held a special public meeting in Pithapuram on Wednesday. In the event, he addressed the concerns of his fans regarding his next film. Pawan Kalyan, who is now serving as the 10th Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, told his fans that they have to wait for his films as his first responsibility is towards the people of the country.

The actor-turned-politician expressed his gratitude to his fans and promised to return to the big screen. As soon as he reached there, many fans started chanting ‘OG’, which is the title of his much-awaited film. He asked the fans, “‘OG’? Do you think I will have time to make films?”

The state’s new deputy chief minister told them that people’s needs are of utmost importance to him at the moment. Pawan said he would first focus his energy on improving his constituency and then shoot films. “I made a promise. First of all, I want to focus on improving this constituency. No one should accuse me of not filling potholes or building new roads at least. ‘OG’ Chestwa, what g, ante mari m cheppanuHe told fans, “What will I do if someone asks me why I am busy shooting ‘OG’?”

However, the popular Telugu star has given hope to fans. He said that he has asked for time from his directors and he will continue his acting work, but only when he has the time. “With that fear in my heart, I also told my filmmakers – please forgive me, but I need to focus on serving the people first. I will shoot films only when I get time for it,” he told.

Pawan delighted his ardent fans by saying that he will be making a comeback to films and that ‘OG’ will be a film worth watching. He said in Telugu, “‘OG’ Chudduru Gani, Bountundi (You’ll definitely see Ozzy, it’ll be cool).”

Pawan has worked in several film industries in his 28-year career. In 2014, he founded his own political party called ‘Jana Sena Party’ in Andhra Pradesh. He distanced himself from films and started focusing on his political journey. Earlier this year, he created history as his party won all 21 assembly seats, solidifying his position as the deputy chief minister in the state.

The actor has announced three films that are yet to hit the screens. Some of them are yet to be shot. This includes Hari Shankar’s ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ which is the Telugu remake of Tamil film ‘Theri’, which originally starred Thalapathy Vijay. However, fans are most excited about ‘OG’, which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens on September 27, but the new release date is yet to be announced. Another film in his pipeline is ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1-Sword vs Soul’.
