Netflix on Tuesday released the trailer for Outer Banks Season 4 Part 1, which brings the Paws gang back on a new adventure. The new season was the most anticipated among fans of the show, who were excited to know the future of the characters after they found the lost city of El Dorado, and got stranded with several sacks of gold.
As well as the cast, the show will feature new shipwrecks, tattoos, maps and adventures, as well as a satire from the Pogues.
As the trailer progresses, the voiceover gives a hint about what to expect from the upcoming episode. It says, “So you’re wondering what happens when you discover the lost city of El Dorado and you’re stranded with a sack full of gold. Let me tell you.”
The preview shows the gang coming together to celebrate their discovery and enjoy themselves on the stranded land, until they realize each of them has gone bankrupt and still owes a large sum of money.
As the trailer progresses, John B, played by Chase Stokes, narrates a story. He says, “We were supposed to live the good life, the simple life, treasure hunting is a thing of the past.” John B adds, “But what we didn’t know at the time is that nothing is permanent.”

Meanwhile, the show’s synopsis gives a detailed description of the new season. It reads, “They have created a new safe haven for themselves, officially named ‘Poguelandia 2.0,’ where they live together and run a fairly successful bait, tackle, and charter tour shop.”
It adds, “But after some financial setbacks, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope and Cleo accept Wes’ offer, and get back in the “G” game for a new adventure.”
The official synopsis further states that the group will face new enemies that they will have to deal with. “Meanwhile, their problems continue to mount, and they are forced to question their past, present, and future – who they really are, is it all worth it, and how much are they willing to risk?” the plot further states.
As far as the show’s cast goes, Chase Stokes will be joined by star cast members from previous seasons, including Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Rudy Pankow, Jonathan Davis, and Carlasia Grant.
The first part of Outer Banks Season 4 will stream on Netflix from October 10, while the second part will release on November 7.
