As promised, Oppo today introduced Oppo K13 in India before its global start. Smartphone – Jean -Z is as its target audience – Prism comes in black and icy purple colors. We shook our hands on the purple model, so let’s take a look at it.
The retail package of Oppo K13 includes a SIM easeer tool, some documents, a charging cable, an 80W power adapter and a purple protective case.
Oppo K13 has a 6.67 “AMOLED display on the front. While the high mode goes up to 120Hz.
K13 display also supports glove mode, tucking down setting , Accessibility and convenience Menu. This allows you to operate the screen of the phone while wearing gloves which is not more than 5 mm thicker and is made up of materials like cotton, wool and parchment. In addition, Oppo says that the screen of the smartphone can be operated with oily or wet hands.
Additionally, the K13 comes with an outdoor mode, which, Oppo says, “made for delivery personnel, adaptation of performance in external functions.” In India, it supports apps such as Zomato, Swiggy, and Blinkit and gives them quick access through shortcuts. There is also automatic hands-free calling, which activates the speaker mode and maximizes the call volume when no earphone is attached.
The performance of Oppo K13, unfortunately, has no HDR support. However, it has a widewin L1 certification, allowing 1080p video streaming in supported apps. It is also worth noting that when the smartphone always has a display feature, this is not always because the screen only lights up and shows information when the phone moves. It is expected here that Oppo will fix it with future software updates.
The display of the Oppo K13 said that the 16MP selfie camera is a concentrated punch-joll that uses the IMX480 sensor with f/2.45 aperture and 85 ° Fov. The camera can record videos up to 1080p resolution at 30 FPS.
There is an optical fingerprint scanner under the display. It is sharp and accurate, but is placed close to bezel below. We would like to see that it has been kept slightly more for more comfortable phone-uniting experience.
Flip the phone around, and you see a squir -shaped island housing two cameras – 50MP primary and 2MP depth. The primary camera uses Omnivision Ov50D40 sensor and has f/1.85 aperture and 75.5 ° Fov. It can record 1080p videos up to 60 FPS, while 4K videos are limited to 30 FPS. The depth camera uses Omnivision Ov02B1B sensor. It has f/2.4 aperture and Fov of 89.1 °.
Oppo K13 also comes with some AI-operated camera features, including AI Engane Clarity, AI Unblur, AI Eraser and AI Reflection Remover.
The back cover of Oppo K13, no matter which model you buy, has a prism -like design, with a good texture called a natural rock texture. Oppo states that it is inspired by natural minerals and “provides a layered surface that mimics the real stone.” The texture does not feel the phone a premium, but it still looks good to catch. In addition, it is not smooth.

The design looks good like a prism on the panel of the purple model, but it only appears clearly when it reflects the light at different angles. Oppo K13’s back is flat; However, the edges make a slight decrease, which makes the Oppo Reno 13 Pro and F29 Pro more comfortable for the author of this article.
The frame of Oppo K13 has a matte finish. On the right is the volume rocker and power button. The bottom is USB-C, which is flanks by a SIM card slot, a primary microphone and a speaker grill. The top is the top IR Blaster, included by the secondary mic and the speaker. The smartphone is also IP65-rated.
Port and control
Oppo K13 has Snapdragon 6 General 4 SoC with a cooling system under the hood which includes 5700 mm2 Vapor Room and 6000 mm2 Graphite. It comes up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone runs Android 15-based Coloros 15 out of the box and Oppo has promised two years OS upgrade and three-year security updates. The K13 also comes with more than 20 apps and games, which is already there, which is a little too much. Fortunately, these can be uninstall, but it is time that Oppo consider reducing the number of apps pre-loaded over its phone.
Oppo K13 weighs 208g, and it has a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging support inside 8.45 mm thick body. Oppo said that the K13 battery can charge 35% in 15 minutes, 62% in 30 minutes and 100% bundle in 56 minutes with 80W adapter. Additionally, the brand said that the battery has a five -year lifetime without mentioning the total number of charges cycles.
Oppo K13 will be sold through Oppo’s official website and Flipkart in India. We are not able to hear about its availability in other markets yet.
