The union of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh may have come as a surprise for something, but it left everyone who blesses them. Last year, when the couple was blessed with a baby girl, she again jumped her well -wishers into joy. But the couple took enough time to take the name of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh.
In a recent conversation with Mary Clair, Deepika Padukone shared how she named her daughter Dua. The actress and entrepreneur revealed that even though her first birth came in early September 2024, the couple’s name was not till November.
This was because for them, it was more important to catch the first child in his arms, allow him to see the new world, and he starts developing his personality a little.
Om Shanti Om actress said, “It felt like a beautiful summary that she matters to us and why she means what she means to us.”
Singham again shared the actress that after a day a lot of churning, she read her husband Ranveer Singh at the middle of the night while she was on the set. DP asked him, “Dua?” And he replied with “yes”. that was it! Similarly, he named his child Dua Padukone Singh.
After taking enough time to find out her daughter’s name, Ranveer and Deepika took on social media and shared good news with the world. The proud parents dropped a picture of their child’s small legs and announced, “Dua Padukone Singh.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will be seen next time in the upcoming action, King of Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. An internal formula specifically informed Pinkvilla, “After all the discussions and after the establishment of the shoot timeline, everything has aligned Deepika Padukone well in the film. She will shoot her role in the second half of 2025.”
On the other hand, Ranveer is shooting for Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar.
