Craig Robinson is away from comedy, at least for now. The Office Star surprised his fans with unexpected updates about their career on Instagram.
In a video post shared with his followers, Robinson revealed, “Hey, everyone! Just you wanted to hear it from me: I’m leaving comedy. But nothing for nothing, it’s not a wonderful run, and Y’alll is amazing and amazing, but I am doing something big.”
He captioned the post, “Life update: I am officially leaving comedy so that I focus on my true calling. Keep up. I am doing some great job.” Robinson finished his video message with thanks to his fans, saying, “So thank you very much. I love you, and stay.”
From office to stand-up and music
Craig Robinson became a domestic name playing the role of Darryl Filbin at NBC’s hit show The Office. Over the years, he has acted in TV shows such as The Cleveland Show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Ghostad. He has also given great laughter in films including Ananas Express, Hot Time Machine, it is the end, sausage party, and Dolmite is my name.
Beyond acting, Robinson is known for his live comedy and music shows. He has been a part of the foul odor/hip-hop/R&B band The Nusts Delius since 2007. He wrote, “A dream and building a business with your friends are two very different things.
