What Is Tiramisu?
Tiramisu is a popular Italian dessert, popular for its distinctive coffee flavor. This sweet dish includes layers of ladyfinger biscuits and mascarpone cheese dipped in a coffee mixture. The result is a heavenly dessert that has garnered fans across the world. For the final touch, cocoa powder is sprinkled on top, which enhances its overall presentation. It is an excellent option to serve at family gatherings and special occasions.
Does this version offer the same taste as regular tiramisu?
The answer is yes! You will be surprised to see how similar this version is to the traditional version. Instead of ladyfinger biscuits, it uses multigrain bread, which provides the same crispy texture. The bread is layered with a sweet cream made from mascarpone cheese, which gives tiramisu its distinctive creamy texture. Overall, you won’t notice much difference in this healthy, guilt-free version.
