Nothing’s phone (4A) is in the office, which means it’s unboxing time. This is the regular, non-Pro model, although we’ll be taking a look at the Pro for you soon!
The Nothing Phone (4A) is available for pre-order and will start shipping on March 13. It is available in Black, White, Blue and Pink and in 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB and 12/256 GB variants. Prices start at €350/£350/₹32,000.
In the box, you get Nothing’s interesting SIM tool, a USB-C cable, and a case – something the phone (3A) didn’t have a year ago.

Let’s talk about the specifications. On the front, the Nothing Phone (4a) features an excellent 6.78-inch 120Hz display with a 1224x2720px resolution and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Inside is a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, which is a new generation SoC compared to this phone’s predecessor, the 7s Gen 3, offering about 7% CPU and GPU performance improvement and 10% efficiency improvement. The 256GB model of the phone (4a) also uses faster UFS 3.1 storage.
Finally, the battery has taken a minor jump to 5,080mAh. Charging speeds are the same at 50W, and it’s wired only.

The Nothing Phone (4a) has the same design as its non-Pro predecessor. However, the glyph interface is new. It now has a glyph bar and a 6-segment, 63-LED case. There is also a red tally light at the bottom for video recording.

Nothing phone (4A) has a glyph interface, oh
The frame on the non-Pro model is plastic, but it doesn’t feel cheap. The whole phone feels well built and sits tightly and securely in the hand.
We’re fans of the semi-transparent design. It looks interesting and smart and stands out. The white model is also very efficient at hiding stains, prints and dust (unlike the dark black model).

The Nothing Phone (4A) may be all the phone you could need in your pocket. There are very few weaknesses – its chipset is capable, we expect respectable battery endurance, and the triple camera system should be just fine for any task. Nothing’s software suite is unique and fluid, and Nothing will support the phone (4A) with three OS updates and six years of security patches.

And there are some nice, quality features, like the Essentials key in the upper left, which lets you list anything on the screen and add a note. It also has a feature that will save you from using too much AI!

Moving to the Nothing Phone (4A) Pro is about a €150/£150/₹8,000 step up. You get a larger Glythe matrix, a slightly larger, faster-refreshing 144Hz display, a metal frame, and a faster Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
